WWII Boeing B-17 Visit & Weekend in History

North Coast Flight School and Liberty Foundation are excited to announce the arrival of the Madras Maiden, a WWII Boeing B-17 "Flying Fortress," will be available for viewing July 29-30 as part of North Coast Flight School's Weekend in History event. The event will be held at North Coast Flight School (1605 Asbury Rd) from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. 

The Madras Maiden will be available to the public for tours and aircraft rides during the event. North Coast Flight School will also be providing airplane rides for $25 per person. Food will be available along with various other attractions. 

Entrepreneurs: free booth space is available to sell or display your products and services during the event. Sign up and register for a space here. Call North Coast Flight School Event Manager Greg Hayes for more information at (814) 434-0875.

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
