Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event

Erie VAMC is hosting their annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo on Friday, August 18 from 6pm-9pm. Returning veterans, their families, and veterans of all eras are invited to attend the event in honor of their service. This event is a one-stop shop to connect with a number of VA programs and other veteran-related community resources while offering fun for the whole family.

Tickets are required and will be available Wednesday, July 12th through Monday, August 14th. Tickets are limited and are first come, first serve. Tickets include entry to the Zoo, free carousel and train rides, a hot dog, chips, and a drink. Children 3 and under do not need a ticket. Please notes. the Erie Zoo is a no-smoking zone.

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
