Wall of Heroes at TREC

The Tom Ridge Environmental Center (TREC) will be honoring veterans during the month of November with its Wall of Heroes. Photos of veterans will be displayed in the TREC lobby from November 1st through November 30th. 

TREC is inviting all veteran's families to submit a small photo (2”x 2.5” or smaller) between Nov. 1 to Nov. 9 to be included on the Wall of Heroes. The photo and accompanying form can be submitted at the TREC Visitor Information Desk from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Photos will not be returned. TREC is located at 301 Peninsula Drive in Erie, PA.

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
