Vietnam Veteran Pinning Ceremony |

U.S. Senator Pat Toomey, State Senator Scott Hutchinson, State Representative R. Lee James, and the Venango County Veterans Affairs Office will be honoring Vietnam-Era veterans with a pinning ceremony on Monday, March 26th at VFW Post 415, located at 415 9th Street, Franklin, PA. To be eligible for the lapel pin, the recipient must be a living United States veteran who served on active duty in the United States Armed Forces at any time from November 1, 1955, to May 15, 1975, regardless of service location. Eligible veterans are urged to contact Senator Scott Hutchinson's office at (814) 677-6345 or jdanzer@pasen.gov. Please, provide your name, branch of service rank, and number of guests attending, and a contact number. Robert DeSousa, who serves as Senator Toomey's state director and as a colonel in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, will attend on behalf of the Senator and will serve as the master of ceremony. A representative from Senator Hutchinson's office will be in attendance, and Representative James will be attending. Registration for the event will begin at 9:30 am with the ceremony beginning at 10:00 am. |
