Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony 2017

Erie's annual Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony is scheduled for Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11th. The entire community is invited to attend! Our Veterans showed up for us when our country called on them, now it’s time to return the favor and show up for our Veterans! Join us in showing your support!

The parade will begin at 9:30 am at the Veterans Stadium and march south on State Street, ending at the Erie VAMC. The ceremony will follow at 11 am at Jefferson School, across the street from the Erie VAMC in 38th Street.

Organizations can call Ken Sawdey at 814-866-9565 to sign up to march in the Parade.

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
