Veterans Appreciation Day

On Friday, November 11, veterans and their families are invited to the Second Annual Veterans Appreciation Day, which will take place at the Presque Isle State Park Rotary Pavilion. It is a free event to honor our veterans and their families. The Big Green Screen film D-Day: Normandy 1944 tickets will be available for free beginning at 11am on a first come, first served basis at the Big Green Screen Theater. Show times are at 12:00pm and 4:00pm. The Big Green Screen Theater is located in the Tom Ridge Environmental Center. For more information about the event, call 814-833-7424.

         Ceremonial Salute, Flag Raising, Speakers

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
