Veteran Job Club in Meadville

Job searching can be a daunting task but you don’t have to go through the job searching process alone. Erie VA Medical Center provides a FREE job club open to all Veterans interested in obtaining employment. Starting June 29, Erie VAMC will be expanding the Job Club to the Meadville community.

All Veterans interested in seeking employment are invited to attend the Veteran Job Club in Meadville. This Job Club offers employment assistance with resumes, interview skills, job searching and support throughout the process.


Dates: 2nd & 4th Friday of the Month (starting June 29)
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Location: PMI 764 Bessemer St., #105 Meadville, PA 16335

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
