Tee It Up for the Troops

On June 24th, 2017 from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm, The Mound Grove Golf Course and Boots on Ground are hosting their 1st annual fundraising event in support of Tee it up for the Troops, Inc. and its mission to serve combat veterans and their families. Proceeds from this event will benefit Boots on Ground - Be the Voice. The event will feature an 18-hole golf tournament, prime rib dinner, and a golf ball drop from a helicopter. Tickets are $80 per person. 50/50 tickets and Helicopter Ball Drop Drawing tickets are also available. Everyone gets a gift, and you can enter to win more prizes.

8:30 am Check-in and Registration
9:30 am Opening Ceremony
10:30 am Shotgun start
04:00 pm Prime Rib Dinner
06:00 pm Golf ball drop from Helicopter

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
