CareerLink and IMBC have partnered to offer a series of 3 Computer Fundamentals classes on Feb. 24, March 3, and March 10 from 8:30am-10;30am.

Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 10am-2pm, Erie VAMC will be holding a Veteran Health Fair in the 2nd Floor Conference Rooms. Meet with health experts and the Erie VAMC leadership team to learn more about the programs and services available. On March 8, The Mental Health Association is holding a fundraiser at Jr's Last Laugh Comedy Club (1402 State St, Erie) to benefit Boots on Ground and the Warming Center of MHA. On Feb. 9 from 4:30-6pm, the board members of the newly formed Your Veteran Community Outreach & Action Team invite the community to attend an informal meet & greet to meet with board members and learn about plans for the future of the MyVA Community group. The event will be held at the Erie VA Medical Center Main Lobby. Light refreshments will be served.

Join hosts County Council Chairman Jay and Mrs. Jamie Breneman for their 2nd Annual "A Thankful Heart" event in celebration of local Veterans on Feb. 12th from 2-5pm at Bourbon Barrel, 1213 State Street, Erie, PA. Admission is $10 or by donation of men's hygiene products, paper products, men's socks and gloves, and linens and blankets. This year's proceeds will benefit EUMA's Liberty House and the formation of our local Iraq-Afghanistan War Memorial Fund. Celebrity Bartenders, a 50/50, silent auction, live music, and more will be included in the event's festivities.

On Feb. 10, Fortis Institute's Erie Dental Hygiene Clinic will offer free dental services to Erie-area children from low-income households through the American Dental Association's Give Kids a Smile Day. Free screenings, cleaning, sealants and radiographs will be available to children under 18. Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment, call (814) 838-4317.

The PA Soldiers' & Sailors' Home will be holding a Four Chaplains ceremony on February 3rd, Four Chaplains Day, beginning at 10am in the Chapel. The ceremony will honor the altruistic actions of the four chaplains of the SS Dorchester in WWII and celebrate interfaith cooperation.
