 If you are a Veteran business owner or a Veteran who would like to start a business, register for this workshop on February 28, 2018, from 10 am to 11:30 am to learn about regional resources available to help you. The NWPA Veterans Entrepreneurship Program is a free online training program to educate and accelerate the entrepreneurial success of Veterans. This program is made possible by the Northwest PA Regional Planning and Development Commision, Clarion University SBDC, and several other regional partners. The guest presenter will be Aaron Lewis, CEO & Principal Investigator of Sphere Brake Defense. Featured speakers will be Jill Foys, Executive Director of Northwest Commision; Brian Slawin, NW Regional Director & Portfolio Manager of Ben Franklin Technology PArtners; Jonathan Bennett, Veteran's Representative of the US Small Business Administration's Pittsburgh Office; and T.J. King, Director of Bridgeway Capital's Erie Region. Remote locations for those with no computer and/or internet will be provided at Gannon SBDC (900 State St, Room 104, Erie, PA), Clarion SBDC (330 North Point Dr. #100, Clarion, PA), and New Castle Public Library (207 East North St, New Castle, PA).
