Military Share Food Distribution

On Tuesday, January 31st, Military Share in collaboration with the Second Harvest Food Bank of NW PA will be distributing free food to those in need at the Cambridge Springs Readiness Center. Military Share, a collaborative program of local food banks and the PA National Guard, is designed to provide fresh, nutritious foods for veterans and military families in need. For the convenience and privacy of the individuals and families served, Military Share distributions take place at designated military sites.

While the specific items distributed vary based on each Food Bank's availabile inventory, eligible, registered family will receive fresh and shelf-stable pantry staples which may include any of the following: Deli/dairy, fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, fish, and poultry, etc.

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
