Erie VAMC is proud to be one of the 18 flagship facilities across the Nation to launch a Whole Health Program, an approach to healthcare that empowers and equips individuals to take charge of their health and well-being, and to live life to the fullest. It focuses on your values and aspiration, your health and well-being and includes self-care and complementary therapies along with your conventional medical care. As part of the program, the Erie VAMC will be holding Introduction to Whole Health class for any Veterans recently discharged from the military, who do not need to be enrolled in VA healthcare to participate. Class will be held on the Second & Fourth Friday of every month from 9 am to 11 am at the Erie VA Medical Center. Transitioning from military service can be challenging. Their Whole Health Coaches will help Veterans and their families work through those challenges by equipping them with Whole Health tools for self-care and well-being. Family members are encouraged to attend. Call 814-860-2447 to register and for location details. |
