Explore New Telehealth Technology

On August 1st from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm, Veterans are invited to tour the Telehealth Education Delivered (TED) vehicle that will showcase new ways of providing convenient, easy access to care. The TED vehicle will be parked at the Erie VAMC outside the 2nd floor entrance. 

TED is a vehicle equipped with technologies that enable facilities to provide education and training on a range of telehealth and patient care solutions. Iron Bow Technologies is taking TED on a road trip across the county to demonstrate the ways that telehealth can extend healthcare access, enhance Veteran care, and enable stronger collaboration among healthcare providers and patients. TED will showcase many innovative solutions in various health areas including: mental health, wound care, audiology, primary care, dermatology, women’s health, rehabilitation and more!

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
