DCNR Life of a Sailor

On January 6th from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, DCNR will be hosting Life of a Sailor at the Tom Ridge Environtmental Center, located at 301 Peninsula Drive, Suite 1 in Erie, PA.

Erie's maritime history started with the building of Commodore Perry's fleet of warships. Join a Park Naturalist in period uniform to learn what a sailor's life in 1813 was all about. Meet in room 112 of the Tom Ridge Environmental Center. No fee. Online registration requested.

Programming is subject to modification or cancellation at the discretion of park staff. If you need an accommodation to participate in Park activities due to a disability, please contact Presque Isle State Park at 814-833-7424 to make arrangements for your visit. With at least three days’ notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for educational programs. Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran).
