Caregiver Appreciation Night

Steeles Trading Post & The Elusive Fox Boutique present a monthly event geared towards caregivers of disabled veterans, but ALL caregivers are welcome! Take a couple hours for yourself - relax, unwind, be pampered, and chat with other caregivers. A night of support and encouragement, led by the wife and caregiver of a 100% disabled veteran.

The event will be held at Steeles Trading Post, located at 2424 Peach Street, Erie, PA on both Friday, January 19th from 6 pm to 8 pm and Saturday, January 20th from 10 am to 12 pm.

-Volunteer hair stylist and makeup artist will be available to do one on one sessions
-As these events progress, we hope to also have guest speakers and more!
-Drinks and snacks will be provided
-Gift bags for everyone that RSVP's to the event on our Facebook page

There is also a Facebook group for caregivers of Erie and surrounding areas. If you are unable to attend our events, we would love to have you join the group so you can still be supported and encouraged and get to know other local caregivers! You can find us at facebook.com/groups/caregiversoferie

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
