7th Annual VA2K Walk & Roll

All are welcome to join in the 7th annual VA2K Walk & Roll event on May 17 at the Erie VA Medical Center. The event kicks of at the 2nd Floor Pavilion at 11:20 am. After kick-off, participants will walk to the top level of the parking garage for a 10 minute exercise class. Classes will be held at 11:40 am, 12:10 pm, and 12:40 pm.

The event is free. Donations to the Homeless Veterans Program will be accepted. Donations can include cash, gas cards, grocery store gift cards, bus tokens, and phone cards. For a full listy of donation items accepted, please visit www.erie.va.gov/giving/items.asp.

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
