2nd Annual A Thankful Heart

Join hosts County Council Chairman Jay and Mrs. Jamie Breneman for their 2nd Annual "A Thankful Heart" event in celebration of local Veterans on Sunday, February 12th from 2:00 to 5:00pm at Bourbon Barrel, 1213 State Street, Erie, PA. Admission is $10 or by donation of men's hygiene products, paper products, men's socks and gloves, and linens and blankets. This year's proceeds will benefit EUMA's Liberty House and the formation of our local Iraq-Afghanistan War Memorial Fund! This 501(c)3 fund will be managed locally and overseen by an independent committee of Veterans and community members.

Celebrity Bartenders, a 50/50, silent auction, live music, and more will be included in the event's festivities. You don't want to miss it, as we're kicking it up a notch this year!

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
